Switch Kit
Switching your checking account to Pacific NW FCU is much easier with our switch kit - just follow the five steps below.
- Open a checking account at PNWFCU.
- Stop using your old account - make sure that you leave enough money in the account so that your outstanding checks and automatic debits can clear. Remember that some companies may not be able to change an automatic payment effective immediately.
- Switch all of your direct deposits to your PNWFCU account (Social Security, government check, Payroll), using the attached form.
- Switch your automatic payments (such as your garbage, phone, gym or insurance bill) to your PNWFCU account using the attached form. This is a good time to also set up any new automatic payments from you new account, using the attached form.
- Close your checking account with your former institution with the attached form.
Remember to destroy all unused checks, deposit slips, ATM and debit cards from your former institution.
