IRAs

It's never too early to start saving for your retirement. Pacific NW offers Traditional and Roth IRAs, as well as Coverdell Education Savings Accounts. We can help you save for your future, while taking your current tax needs into consideration. Traditional IRAs have become more popular because of expanded income limits, which means that more people are able to make tax-deductible contributions. Roth IRAs and Coverdell Accounts are not tax-deductible, but qualified withdrawals are tax-free*. Not sure what IRA is right for you? Contact us at 1.800.444.5858, or stop by your local branch. Our competitive rates are tiered, so the more you contribute, the more you will earn. IRA accounts are insured separately from other accounts up to $250,000.

With the current media coverage on troubled banks, you may be wondering if your accounts are secure at the credit union. The short answer is, yes!

Our credit union is sound and stable. Credit unions are federally insured by a fund that is backed by the full faith and credit of the U.S. government. The National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF) insures credit union member funds to $250,000. For more information on federal share insurance click here.
