Make College a Reality--
Get your Student Loan from Pacific NW Federal Credit Union!

You know the value of a college education

College graduates make an average of one million dollars more than those without college degrees (www.studentloanfacts.org). But, because the cost of a university, technical college, other specialized training can be overwhelming, Pacific NW Federal Credit Union offers Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP) loans that can help you with the funding you need to pursue your dreams.

Ask anyone who has been to college, and they'll tell you those years were some of the best in their life. Getting ready for college, on the other hand, can be as confusing as it is exciting! We are here to help you fund your loan, and we even offer discounts:

  • .25% discount on first car loan with checking account and auto pay
  • First box of collegiate (or image) checks free & debit card free with checking account
  • Edge Visa
  • College scholarships

FFELP offers loans for students and parents

  • College scholarships
  • Stafford Loans
  • The subsidized Federal Stafford Loan is based on financial need. The government pays the interest while you are in school.
  • The unsubsidized Federal Stafford Loan is not based on need but family income is a determining factor. You pay all the interest, although you can have the payments deferred until after graduation.
  • Parent PLUS/Grad PLUS Loans
  • Creditworthy parents of dependent undergraduate students and graduate/professional students can apply for this loan, which is not based on need.
