$250,000 NCUA Share Insurance Protection Now Permanent
Recently, President Barack Obama signed into law the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. Included in this sweeping legislation are provisions making permanent the current $250,000 maximum federal deposit insurance level, which had been temporary until December 31, 2013. Federally insured credit union member accounts are now permanently insured to at least $250,000 by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund, a federal insurance fund backed by the full faith and credit of the U.S. Government.

Reg GG Disclosure for Business Members
The Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act prohibits gambling businesses from disbursing or accepting payments in connection with unlawful Internet gambling. Under the Act, any person engaged in the business of betting or wagering is prohibited from completing “restricted transactions” or knowingly accepting payments in connection with the participation of another person in unlawful Internet gambling. PNWFCU does not offer services to any business involved in this type of activity. As required by law, we monitor all account activity, and will restrict any transactions connected with unlawful Internet gambling. If unlawful activity is detected, the account may be restricted or closed.
Giant Rummage Sale & Vintage Auto Show (Parkrose)
Come support the Parkrose community at the Giant Rummage Sale & Car Show, September 18, 2010, at the Airport Holiday Inn (8439 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland, OR) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The sale/auto show will also feature a BBQ, a beer garden and a live band! Proceeds from the event will go towards local charities. If you would like to participate in the event as a vendor you may purchase a table (no food vendors, please).
