Board of Directors Election- Meet the Candidates
Pacific NW Federal Credit Union would like to introduce you to our candidates running for the Board of Directors in March. There are three incumbent directors seeking reelection, Phillip A Livesley, Larry A. Long and Spencer G. Wedlund. There is currently only one nominee for each available position. Therefore, the election will not be conducted by ballot, and there will be no nominations from the floor. In this situation, our by-laws call for an election by general consent or acclamation. Nominations for available Board of Director positions may also be made by petition, which must be received by January 27, 2012. E-mail David Lacka at d.lacka@pnwfcu.org if you are interested. The Board of Directors Election will take place the 70th Annual Meeting.
Philip A. Livesley
I've been a credit union member since 1965 when I went to work for Bonneville Power Administration. I've been a volunteer since 1975 and currently serve as Treasurer of the PNWFCU Board and as a member of the Asset and Liability Committee. There have been a lot of changes since I joined the then BPA Federal Credit Union that was then in the basement of the 911 building. Even though I retired from BPA in Sept. 06, I would still like to continue serving our members to build on our successes and be a part of the exciting challenges of being a high touch Financial Partner for Life in the high-tech information age. As I learned a long time ago with the credit union, 'Ownership makes a difference!'

It has been my great pleasure to have the opportunity to serve as a member of your Board since 1999. During that time, we have experienced many changes and, now, many new challenges. I would like to continue serving the membership and help face those challenges as we continue to move forward. We have a strong credit union that is performing well in difficult times. I feel it is important for us to maintain continuity while adjusting to these rapidly changing conditions. I am a professional Economist with over 30 years of experience making business forecasts, and also preparing and reviewing financial statements. I have been a member of PNWFCU during all that time. For the past five years, I have enjoyed working with other members of the Board as we, and the management team, have worked to increase membership, products and services, and returns to depositors. I would like to serve you for another three years and help steer our credit union through these difficult times.
