IT Systems Administrator

 

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Systems Administrator to join our fun and talented team of IT professionals.

The ideal candidate will be able to administer and support all aspects of our domain and server infrastructure in a Microsoft environment (Windows 2003 AD /Exchange 2003/ MOSS). In addition, you should be able to demonstrate knowledge of networking, industry best-practice security principles, backup solutions, antivirus and malware threat management, and firewall administration. Experience with enterprise VoIP systems and Cisco networking, as well as exposure to the financial industry are a definite plus. You will be an integral part of the IT team by supporting and advising on technical issues, upgrades, system changes and new equipment.

Other competencies you should possess include critical thinking, creative problem-solving skills and a passion to develop and grow your IT talents. You must excel in a team-oriented environment, have amazing communication skills and be willing to deliver the same high-quality customer service we provide our members.

Qualified candidate will have at least 3 – 5 years professional experience in IT, and a 2- or 4-year degree in a technical or business field or equivalent experience. Microsoft and/or CompTIA certifications are a plus.

This is a full-time, Monday – Friday non-exempt position.

 

Member Relationship Officer
(Hood River branch)


Responsibilities Include

  • Working with members from application to funding as their primary point of contact for consumer and home equity loans.
  • Working with members through the application phase of mortgage loans.
  • Reviewing, decisioning, processing, signing and funding consumer & home equity loans.
  • Establishing new memberships and additional accounts for existing members, in compliance with all applicable rules and regulations including Customer Identification Policy.
  • Referring members to other products/services, including financial services.
  • Selling ancillary products such as GAP, MBI and credit insurance.
  • Resolving complex member issues for members.
  • Answering incoming "queue" calls related to loans and transactions.
  • This position would be located in and work from the Hood River Branch

Collections Manager

Pacific NW has a rare opportunity for an experienced Collections Manager who wants to make a difference for a member-focused, full-service credit union.

Requires technical knowledge of bankruptcy laws as well as all state and federal regulations related to collections. Must possess strong credit and risk management, supervisory, leadership and project management skills. Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel and Access. Must be effective at “systems thinking” and possess strong analytical skills. Requires a minimum of five years collections experience including a minimum of two years experience in both mortgage loan collections and management. Prefer experience in setting up and managing a collections program. Previous financial institution or credit union experience preferred.

This is a Monday – Friday, full-time exempt management position.

 

IT Support Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced IT support professional to join our fun and talented IT team. This position has a dual role: technical desktop support and computer operator duties for our core financial processor, XP2.

Support Tech skills:

  • Experience with basic PC hardware maintenance and upgrades
  • Working understanding of Active Directory and related domain services
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Experience with installing and troubleshooting printers.

Computer Operator skills:

  • 1+ year of experience with XP Systems or other core financial platform
  • Familiarity with a non-Windows OS, such as AIX, Linux, or OS X.
  • Comfortable with command line data manipulation
  • Proven ability to follow extensive checklist procedures.

The ideal candidate will provide desktop support in a Microsoft environment (Windows XP/Outlook 2003). You should have several years of increasingly complex support experience, expert skills in Microsoft Office products (including Windows XP) and be the problem-solving person everyone likes to go to when they’re stuck. You’ll be expected to provide software, hardware and even some network support, as well as assistance with our financial mainframe system, develop and update documentation, and work with the IT team on projects as needed.

This is a non-exempt, full-time Monday - Friday position. Typical work schedule will be 10am – 7pm, but may vary depending on business need.

Member Service Representative
(Hood River branch)

Job Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to serve members by performing transactions and offering additional Credit Union products and services to benefit the members. Secondary purpose of the position is to protect credit union assets by following established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities Include

  • Assist members with deposits, withdrawals, balance inquiries, loan payments and other various transactions
  • Cross-sell credit union products and follow balancing procedures
  • Use financial computer systems to look up, access and when needed, research member accounts

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year previous cash handling experience
  • Minimum 1 year previous customer service experience
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations
  • Keyboard and 10-key skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of credit union products and services preferred
  • High School diploma or equivalent

Risk Management Clerk

Job Summary

The purpose of this position is to provide support in a variety of tasks associated with the compliance, security and risk management functions.

Responsibilities Include

  • Assist in analyzing routine compliance reports
  • Research, process returned checks
  • Research subpoenas, bond claims
  • Process garnishment and levies
  • Assist with record-management, compliance audits
  • Review exception reports
  • Resource the internet for research
  • Cross-train into other compliance functions
  • Support the compliance team as needed
